Brian Leonard, Senior Minister
Brian joined Eastpointe in 2002. Previously, he had spent eight years at Harvester Christian Church in St Charles, Missouri as their youth minister. While there, he met and married his wife Pam and had two wonderful children: Bryson and Chloe. Brian received his undergraduate from Manhattan Christian College in Manhattan, Kansas and his Master's degree from Kentucky Christian University.
As Eastpointe's Senior Minister, Brian oversees all aspects of ministry in the church. In addition to preaching on Sunday mornings, Brian sets the goals and vision of the congregation and alongside the Elders, he guides, directs, and shepherds the people of Eastpointe.
Chadwick Kellenbarger, Worship Minister
Chadwick came to Eastpointe in 2001 with a Bachelor's degree from Kentucky Christian University. Also in 2001, Chadwick married his high school sweetheart, Nicole and they now have a beautiful daughter, Grace Louise.
Chadwick leads our Sunday morning worship as well as overseeing various other ministries.
Adam Washington, Student Minister
In 2007, Adam Washington joined the ministry team at Eastpointe. Adam was married in 2004 to Shannon and in 2007, their first child Lilly was born. Adam grew up as a member of Eastpointe and received his Bachelor's degree from Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio.
Adam oversees the Student Ministries (Junior & Senior High) as well as large-church events and athletics.
Kathy Taylor, Pastoral Care Minister
Prior to coming to Eastpointe in 1998, Kathy and her late husband, Howard, served as missionaries with the Bay Ridge Christian Church in Brooklyn, New York for 13 years. They have two grown children, Cathy Lynne O' Donnell and Barry Taylor. Kathy received her degrees from Kentucky Christian University where she was also a professor for several years.
Kathy oversees our Pastoral Care ministries.
Kim Barker, Children's Minister
Kim received her Communication's degree from Ohio State University, where she met her husband, Daryl. After working for several years in local television, Kim joined the ministry team at Eastpointe in 2001. She and Daryl have two wonderful daughters, Lydia and Madalyn.
Kim oversees all Children's programming, including our yearly kidXplosion summer event.
