Purpose
At Eastpointe Christian Church, everything we do will fall under one or more of these five purposes:
Worship
"Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God" – I Corinthians 10:31. As Christians, everything we do each day should bring glory to God.
Every Sunday we have a unique opportunity to share with each other in His worship: "Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit
of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching" – Hebrews 10:25.
Evangelism
In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus said to "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit." We have this command of Christ to share His love with a world that desperately needs Him.
Discipleship
"We proclaim Jesus, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ." – Colossians 1:28.
Whether you've been a Christian for 3 months, 3 years, or 30 years, we offer many opportunities for growth. Join a bible study or small group and
continue to discover more about Jesus and the Christian life.
Service
Ephesians 2:10 tells us that "we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance
for us to do." At Eastpointe, our goal is for every member to find out his or her unique S.H.A.P.E and use it in serving God and others
Fellowship
"All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had."
– Acts 4:32. We seek to provide a place where people can become connected and involved with others. Much more than just an occasional handshake
or dinner date- it is a sharing of the experiences of our lives both during the good times and the bad
